Amanda Godber
is a professional gardener working in the Stroud Valleys. She has grown organic vegetables for the last twenty years, starting off as many do with tomatoes in pots. Now the range of produce she grows includes most traditional vegetables, as well as amaranth, quinoa, dried pulses, physalis, cranberries, huckleberries and tomatillos. Amanda has an established allotment and this year has increased her ‘plot size’. “Ideally I would like to grow all my own fruit and vegetables, but the range I’ve grown I’m really pleased with”. Amanda also makes lots of home made wine, and is learning how to conserve crops for the winter. “I had a go at drying onions and apple rings last year – so far so good, it’s February now and they still taste great!”

Jordana's hobbies include cooking, reading, art, photography, travelling and socialising with family and friends. Jordana has recently graduated from university where she studied Bsc Psychology and is now putting theory into practice working full-time in an environment supporting adults with Autism/Autistic traits.
